Amazon Favourites: Autumn 2022

As the seasons change, I will be adding to the series of my Amazon favourites! What better month to start than Autumn / Fall?! I know, my inner white girl is screaming. Days get shorter, clothing gets warmer and naturally, we want to cosy up our houses and change up our routines to match the season. We are a part of nature and just as the trees adapt to the seasons, so do we.

Autumn is when the leaves start to turn from green to orange hues and start to fall, due to the decreased amount of sunlight. Remember, sunlight is the tree’s energy source. So with less sunlight, it means they need to save their energy and let go of what is taking up too much of it. You too can use this time to let go of what is no longer serving you, to slow down and prepare your body for the colder months ahead.

For a fun kind of blog post, I thought I’d share what products I’ve been loving so far for the Autumn season. I have tried and tested most of these products and that is why I am recommending them to you! I may keep this structure the same for future blog posts and for now will stick to one product per category.

You can check out my actual Autumn Amazon list where I may add more of my favourites as the season goes on.

These are my Amazon favourites: Autumn edition

1. Candle/scent

Apple Cinnamon Candle

One of my favourite ways to establish a new season, whilst also making it cosier is candles! I know it’s not practical for everyone to have candles (like at university) so that is why I mentioned scent. You can find the same scent in the form of incense over here.

2. Clothing

Ugg Ultra Mini’s

Yep, it’s been long enough that it is now time for the return of the UGG! Feel old yet? These mini ankle ugg boots are a fresh take on the classic ugg style and I’ve seen them starting to appear on the more daring influencers. They’re still in the early stages of the trend cycle, so they still have some time to go before we see them as basic white girl attire. Plus, it’s like you’re ‘hacking’ life by getting to wear your slippers outside of the house and it still being acceptable. I would grab a pair while you can.

3. Beauty

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula With Vitamin E Skin Therapy Oil

I wish I started using this product sooner. You can read all the benefits it has for your skin on the bottle but I love this oil because not only does it make your skin glowy and smell good, it’s got zero harmful substances, helps reduce scars and the oil is fast absorbing so it doesn’t ruin your clothes. I usually follow up with this oil after I use my dry brush and have a shower. It’s a daily essential now that I can’t live without!

4. Book

The Picture of Dorian Gray (Penguin Clothbound Classics)

Autumn time is about romanticising colder, darker days and it’s back to school time, so naturally, it’s the perfect time to live your ‘dark academia’ aesthetic dream. This book of choice is ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ by Oscar Wilde, which is what I’ll be reading for the month of October. I love these new Penguin classics material covers too, aren’t they gorgeous?!

5. Series

The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries Season 1 Full Episodes | MTFLIX

If you’re looking for the perfect darker fantasy series to binge-watch this Autumn, Vampire diaries is my go-to. I’m currently rewatching this throwback of a series and I’m telling you, it does not disappoint. If you have Amazon prime then you can watch the entire 8 seasons for free!

6. Food / drink

Drink me chai powder vegan

If there’s one reason alone you should be excited about the Autumn season, it’s for the chai spice lattes to come out. It can get a little expensive to take a trip to your local coffeeshop to buy your chai latte, so why not make your own at home? This vegan chai powder is what I’ve been using recently, it changes up my regular coffee and adds that spicy aroma to the morning which is so cosy and warm.

7. Decor

Maple leaves fairy lights

My favourite thing to do, especially when it gets to the cosier months is decorating my house. So that means fairy lights and warm-toned leaves. These are so cute and you can pretty much put them anywhere to add to that Autumnal feel. Places I like to place mine are under the TV, behind my bedframe, on top of my mirror or on any wall with a plug close by.

8. Mug

Pumpkin mug

YINYUEDAO Cartoon Theme Ceramic Mug,3D Pumpkin Cup,Birthday and Fall Gift for Friend,Gift Box Packaging/12 Ounce

What better way to drink your chai latte in the morning than out of a pumpkin mug. I’m always collecting mugs because I feel like they all have their own personality. When the mornings are a little colder and it’s a bit harder to get out of bed, a pumpkin mug makes my morning fun. It’s silly but it makes me feel excited to get up in the morning and get into the cosy mood of Autumn.

9. Wellbeing

CBD oil

Green Stem Strawberry CBD Oil 1000mg

The wellness product that I’ve been loving this Autumn is CBD oil. I use it for instant anxiety relief or to help with insomnia. The Autumn time can be a little anxiety-inducing, with a significant lack of sunlight and the overall change in routine. This is a staple that I will always have on me no matter the time of year.
